I have met some really outstanding people and have made great friends in this industry. Although I love the work of the reconing shop, after 10 years I realize that I can help other people who want to recone speakers, do the same thing. I hope you are one of those people.
We encourage our customers to recone their own speakers. We even show them how. Sometimes we even let them do the work in our shop. Currently the shop I own employs: myself one full time and two other part timers. It's a different world you enter when you hire employees. We market our ability to to customers. Introducing different services associated with reconing speakers. Grilles, Suspension stiffening, Speaker Cable, Caps, Chokes, Attenuaters, Slightly higher electronic information and Nightclub servicing-We don't sell, we fix!, and We will Never, Ever become your competition. We help you do better and maybe you will understand the value in helping others.
