Cyanoacrylate adhesives have become the industry standard across the board. We have found the rubber toughened AKP products' value in all areas of assembly, especially when speed is an issue.

AKP product comes in Clear and Black depending on your needs. AKP is a light weight and surface cures in moment only when the AKP-Accelerator (AKPA) is applied. AKP's strength is amazing, as it is also impervious to chemicals. It is a bear to clean up as there are no "good" solvents for AKP. AKP clear viscosity is 3200cp. It flows to areas slowly and evenly without trapping air bubbles. The black viscosity is 5000cp for a perfect flow on paper dustcaps. AKP should be kept cool for maximum shelf life of about 1 year. Lucky for you AKP will not adhere to aluminum or plastic surfaces unless you first apply Poly-Prep.

AKPA is sprayed on AKP to accelerate the curing process. Without AKPA the AKP product will take a full 24 hours to cure around the voice coil-spider-cone area because the bead of AKP is thick and air curing takes time to evaporate moisture.
