Poly-Prep   wpe8.jpg (5075 bytes)

Aid the adhesion of plastic using AKP.

Poly-Prep, also know as "primer", is used to prepare plastics and similar difficult situations for the AKP product line. Use Poly-Prep every time you have a Poly cone. Poly-Prep comes in a 2oz cap top bottle and includes an applicator swab. You can use what you need where you need it.

As you look at a Poly cone to be used, you may see by the trail of scored material left behind if the cone was prepped at the factory. Most have not, however some get prepped at the time of manufacturing. If you have this situation and are not comfortable with what you see, using another application of Poly-Prep will not harm the surface in any way. So, as redundant as it could be to re-apply Poly-Prep, there is no harm done.

Poly-Prep being applied to a butle rubber surround. Poly-Prep must be used on all rubber products you are adhering with AKP products. Of course using A25 is also a very good adhesive choice for this example of placing a butle edge to the frame.
